New Bioplex, Missouri University of Science & Technology

The Bioplex is the final piece to complete Missouri S&T's master planned arrival court, creating a highly visible beacon to the surrounding community and 'planting the flag' to announce S&T's arrival as a prestigious Carnegie R1 research institution to the rest of the world.
This 110,000 SF building will focus on biological sciences and features: 17 research labs, specialized core labs, including a vivarium and the Center for Biomedical Research, cognitive neuroscience labs, teaching labs and active learning classrooms, faculty offices with student collaboration spaces, and a geothermal energy plant and support areas like loading dock, shop, and utility rooms.
